SEEKING
WestWind Homes is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Selections Coordinator to join our Production Department. This individual will serve as the bridge between customers, sales, purchasing, and construction—ensuring each home’s selections process runs smoothly, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional communication and organization skills, and brings both creativity and professionalism to customer interactions. OBJECTIVES
This position will be responsible for the overall coordination of the selections process, for both customers & Vice President of Sales. Coordinating the accurate and timely selections with the production, sales & purchasing team to ensure job creation happens on schedule. Creating an enjoyable process for our customers.
JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
• Participate in Daily Sales Team Huddles.
• Participate in Daily Team Member Coaching Sessions (if needed).
• Review & schedule/coordinate upcoming customer/spec selections, plan reviews & pre-construction meetings.
• Understand max appraisal & customer max loan amounts for a job & confidently communicate Westwind policy & procedures for cash/financing options.
• Customer appointment kept de-brief w/ Home Investment Advisors.
• Meet with vendors & make any necessary changes to Showroom & Database.
• Ensure proper signature for customer approvals on selections made.
• Collect, record and hand off deposit/options & upgrade checks/money orders from customers.
Weekly,
• Participate in Weekly Sales/Staff Meetings.
• Participate in Weekly 1 on 1 sessions w/ VP of Production, VP of Sales & Purchasing Managers.
Annual
• Participate in Selections Coordinator Employee Performance Evaluation.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to represent WestWind Homes in a professional manner and appearance.
• Learn, understand & practice Westwind Homes proven sales process with every prospective customer.
• Manage a database and powerpoint of quick selections for architectural styles, 2 sets of warm colors & 2 sets of cool colors for each.
• Must be able to interact smoothly and effectively with Customer, Sales, Construction, & Purchasing to facilitate Selections, Options & Upgrades and Customization for every job released.
• Will require interaction with sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain current products, remove and replace discontinued products.
• Will require some travel to Sales Offices to monitor marketing set up, check for continuity and consistency of displays. Must be able to keep accurate and up to date Marketing Collateral for Marketing Coordinator and provide same information and instruction to Sales Agents as to use.
• Review and manage buyers to project timeline. Review construction events, buyer appointments, and milestones. Review impact to schedule and cost ramifications when dates are not met.
• Must be able on occasion to meet with customers at a pre-arranged time after hours or Saturdays as needed.
• & anything else as requested. Typically needed to cover reception duties."

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to occasionally lift-up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine company needs.
• Must be able to legally drive vehicles in the USA.
